01What we collect

About brokers and lenders who use Off Panel:

• name, work email, phone, company, ABN and licence or registration details
• account settings, subscription status and support messages
• how you use the app, device information and basic logs

About deals you enter, which can include your clients and guarantors:

• borrower and guarantor names, company details and ABNs
• property addresses, valuations, loan amounts, purpose, exit and other deal details
• documents you upload, such as valuations, contracts, statements and identity documents
• what you tell Marty by voice or text

From lenders: contact details, product criteria and the information we need to check them before listing.

Through the website: what you enter in our register interest and contact forms.

02Voice conversations

When you talk to Marty, your audio is transcribed so the app can understand the deal. The audio is then deleted unless you turn on Keep voice recordings. Transcripts are stored with the deal.

03How we use it

• to run Off Panel: understand deals, match them against lender criteria and draft loan summaries
• to verify addresses, ABNs and company details against public registers
• to send deals to the lenders you choose, with you copied in
• to check lenders before and after listing them
• to manage accounts and subscriptions, give support and keep Off Panel secure
• to improve Off Panel, using de-identified or aggregated data where we can
• to produce aggregated market insights that never identify a broker, borrower or deal
• to tell you about Off Panel. You can opt out of marketing at any time

04Who we share it with

Lenders only see a deal when you choose to send it to them. Brokers only see their own deals.

We use service providers to host data, transcribe audio, run AI models, send email and process payments. They may only use the information to provide their services to us.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, who handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. We do not see your card details.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

We do not sell personal information.

05Overseas storage and processing

Some of our providers, such as cloud hosting, email and AI providers, store or process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

06Information about your clients

When a broker enters information about a client or guarantor, the broker is responsible for having their consent and telling them it will be shared with Off Panel and with lenders. We handle that information under this policy.

07Security and retention

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is completely secure, so please keep your login safe and tell us straight away if you think your account has been misused.

We keep information while your account is active and for as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal obligations. When you delete a deal or your account, we delete or de-identify the information within 90 days, except where we must keep it.

If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.

08Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you by emailing support@offpanel.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

If you have a privacy complaint, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Our website uses essential cookies to work, and may use analytics to see how it is used. You can block cookies in your browser.

10Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with its date.
